Corn harvest is always one of my favorite times of the year. It is the time of year that summer is making it’s way into fall, promising warm days and cool nights. The sunsets are always vibrant and colorful and the air always has that crisp fall scent to it. Along with the weather changing, another reason I love corn harvest is because of the wildlife. The corn offers cover and food for the animals, and while we are harvesting we get an up close view of what lives within. These mule deer, among many other, were housing themselves in a field of corn we were harvesting and were kind enough to allow me to snap pictures of their beauty.
